Overview

Sense Events is a solution for managing and launching offline events such as recruitment drives. This case study will focus on the Campus Drive package, which is designed to help employers acquire candidates and build their employer brand.

Problem Statement

  1. Hiring Events are is a key strategy for talent acqusition teams in large corporate organisations (enterprise, upper mid-market) to attract candidates and build their pipeline.

    1. They may not have the budgets or the people to run events.

    2. They might not have high volume hiring requirements like early talent

    3. They might not be too worried about recruitment marketing as a business.

  2. Running & managing tools is quite unproductive since they use multiple tools.

    1. Spreadsheets - To keep a track of all upcoming, current and past hiring events

    2. Landing Pages & Marketing Teams - Since marketing team owns the website, they have to work with them to create online assets to attract talent.

    3. ATS - To track the lifecycle of the candidates, however the event registrations & candidate resumes are not reaching the ATS since the ATS is not designed to do so. This results in the TA teams manually collecting resumes and uploading those into the ATS for record keeping.

    4. Engagement - They use whatever is available (hubspot) or the ATS. But those solutions are not designed to engage candidates, and create/manage top of the hiring funnel.

    5. Virtual Events - They use tools like Zoom/Teams or more specific tools like Hopin or Brazen to connect and interact with candidates virtually.

Sense Business Problems - How will it benefit Sense?

  1. We don’t have multiple entry points into the corporate customer. This creates a land strategy for us to address one major use case for customer, and expand from there.

  2. This creates additional revenue stream for Sense.
